I've driven Route 70 a number of times. The most memorable drive was from Colorado to New Jersey, which I did in about 48 hours without a break. I actually tried to stay in a motel in Missouri on that trip, but someone kept trying to break into my room and it freaked me out, so I just got back in the car and continued driving.
Even more memorable was the fact that we had just had a number of blizzards in Colorado. In late April, when I made the trip, we had a freak heat wave. So I was driving across Colorado with 3 feet of snow all around, with the windows down because it was 90 degrees.
