Praise the Lord for 51 in VBS today! God gave us 24 on our van, and we actually had good behavior. Folks, I'm using my spiritual gifts.

And tomorrow, I have to go to Guadalajara for tests before surgery on Monday, so I appreciate all prayers.

I'm not making this up. All my tests went well yesterday, but they're not having my surgery on Monday, as I had thought. On Monday they will schedule my surgery. So I was sitting at home in a recliner, angry and feeling sorry for myself, and not driving my van for VBS.

Then I thought "Jim Vineyard taught me better than this." So I drove my van, and we had 29 kids on the two vans.
