Who's going to see it?

I'm considering it. Most of the early reviews are negative. Which means I'm going to like it.... Smile

I don't know what gets into critics. They couldn't write a script for something if they tired. They act like they're expert script writers and directors. They're not. I wish they would quit over analyzing every small detail in films. About the only critic I ever liked was Ebert. He knew what "mindless entertainment" meant....

I don't go to movies to see if I can figure out what's going to happen. Well, I do that sometimes.... more importantly to me is to be entertained. I don't care if its "mindless entertainment".

My mind needs to focus on things that matter. Not intricately pull apart a movie to drive clicks to my website.... like most critics.
i never pay attention to the critics... or base my decision to see a movie on anything they say.... ... like you said, they are neither script writers or directors..... ... but rather people who probably failed at both and are now whining about sour grapes..... (or in some cases telling us some truly rotten grapes are as good as wine)....... .... they embody the down side of the old adage of "those who can do.... and those who can;t criticize"........

but having said that i do pay attention to movie trailers and sometimes make decisions on what movie to go to based on what i see in those..... .. trailers are made by people associated with the production team who are trying their dead level best to make us want to see the movie....... if they can show me something that sparks my interest then i;m halfway to buying a movie ticket......... but if not.... then i;m halfway asleep or halfway to nausea before the trailer is even over..... i figure if the highlights of a production can;t sell the movie then what chance is there the rest of it will be good?..... 16

i haven;t decided yet about suicide squad..... i saw one trailer to it so far..... .. they usually put out 2 and sometimes 3 before a movie hits the screen..... so i;ll see what the next one shows the next time i;m at the theater...... ....sadly the trailer to one of my favorite series of movies... (ice age.. collision course)...  actually turned me off when i saw it..... 04 the movie is in the theaters now and i still haven;t seen it...... probably won;t until it comes on hbo or dvd........ .... i don;t know about the movie but the trailer had far too much junior high locker room humor in it for my liking.... and that is sad..... coz i loved the first ice age movie and tolerated if not moderately enjoyed the ones that followed based on how much i loved the first one..... but even with me that only travels so far...... and the trailer for that last one convinced me they have run outta gas........ 124
I don't pay much attention to critics, but I have no burning desire to see it.  I'll wait until it comes to Netflix or something.

My uncle worked at a news stand and gave us all the unsold comics, so I've been reading both DC and Marvel (and many others) since I was little.  I never liked DC comics or their writers.  I'm a Marvel fan, and have been since a very young age.
