1Co 7:17  But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

I don't believe a fundamentalist would ever preach what Paul wrote above.

In fact, I've NEVER heard a single sermon on 1 Corinthians 7:17. Well, I did read Paul's sermon. Smile

A fundamentalist would never tell anyone to ignore their advice..... and do what God had called them to do.

I have some advice for you. Find God's plan for you and live it. Don't try to live another person's life. Don't try to be someone that you're not. I'm not saying to do wrong, just realize there MANY people that refuse to live their life for God because they're living by someone's advice. That's good at times and bad at others.

Don't allow someone else to dictate to you what is so very important for you to learn yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many moons ago, I posted on "The C.S. Lewis Problem." Considered a liberal by many fundamentalist leaders, Lewis was an Anglican, smoked, drank, fellowshipped with the wicked, never had a scandal, and was the first person to preach live to over a million people (over the radio).

The problem?

Lewis taught that there is a genuine outward holiness that is the result of a genuine inward holiness. But outward holiness that comes from man-made rules is not genuine holiness. That's why he is considered a liberal.
