Before getting into what makes us different. I'll list what we have in common. 

1. We both were created by God. 
2. We both are similar to our creator. (in some ways we individually differ)
3. We both sinned against God. 
4. We both are important to God.
5. We both possess the ability to choose. 


I know there are more. Feel free to add to the list.

Now. To what makes us different. 

1. I don't know what angels were created from. Man was created from dirt and water. 
2. There is no record of angels having the ability to love. Not that I know of. 

Angels possess emotions. However, I can not find on place where angels have the ability to love. 

What do you think?

3. ..... they are immortal.... and do not face natural or inevitable death the way we do..... .....
4. ....they have both supernatural powers and immense physical powers we cannot even imagine...... while we are physically amongst the most feeble creatures in the realm.....

5. .... not all angels sinned against God.... and the ones who did were given no chance at redemption..... .. i don;t know for certain but if had to venture a guess i would suggest no second chances and no redemption for sin, was the price for all the power and immortality angels were given..... they were not creatures born into sin like we are.... do they have a sin nature they must over come?..... i don;t know but i woudn;t think so..... ... beyond that i don;t know much else about them..... .... 

and i;m not sure about the ability to love either.... but i would not be surprised to learn that they can and that they have simply set it aside... along with the opposite emotion of hate....to remain focused and steadfast to their duty of serving God.. ............
