i made mention on the other forum how iritating the sound of fingers sliding and screetching
on a guitar string were... ......and how it was sign the player had very poor finger discipline
and was in general a very "lazy" guitar player... ... they didn;t respond to that very well and
most appear to have assumed the attitude prevalent among many modern sidewalk and
amateur musicians that those screetches are just a normal part of music... ar unavoidable..
and should even be considered an acceptable part of the music.... . well.... not according
to my ears.....in my opinion they are like fingernails on a chalkboard....
but the following song... played by a real and well practiced musician... is what a guitar
is supposed to sound like.... no finger screetches or grating sounds as fingers slide on the
strings between note and chords.... ...
