From the time I first trusted Christ Jesus for Eternal Life......

I've always wanted to do something..... BIG. Change the world type of BIG..... I've put my hand to many different things in my life to try and accomplish this goal...... Then I realized....

It was me wanting this. Not God. God just wants to change ME!!!

Do you want know something BIG you can do for God?

Just Believe Him! Just believe what He says.....

He's always having trouble with people not believing Him.

when i first joined the old fff almost 13 years ago..... i noticed it was a recurring theme and almost an obsession among many of those who considered themselves fundamentalists..... that they had to do something "big" for God..... and anyone they looked up to or respected had to be someone who had done something big for God..... .... but as i learned more about the people they admired and looked up to..... namely their patron saint jack hyles.... i realized that what they were admiring were things those people had done for themselves.... then attached Gods name to it..... they had worked hard and been a part of some big things alright but to me it looked as if the glory for those things was all theirs...... ...God just kinda went along for the ride...  .......so i had to wonder if He was even a part of it ....but what really settled the question in my mind was the day i heard of a recording of a jack hyles sermon in which he said he hoped God would look down on him one day and declare that He..  (God)... didn;t know He was capable of doing such things until he.... (jack hyles)... showed Him. ......    

ecclesiastes tells us that to simply fear God and keep his commandments is the whole duty of man..... if that fear and obedience causes us to be a part of a bigger thing God does..... so be it..... or whether it means we are simply a part of many smaller things..... it;s just as well... ......... but either way we better be sure we give God the glory...... as well as praise and gratitude ....whether we immediately recognize the results of such things or not.. or whether we see them as big or not.... ... ..... ..sometimes God works through us in ways we are not even aware of....  and we may never know whether those things turned out to be big or small, until this life is past and we kneel before Him..........
