i like the fact they caught the signal flags in this photograph... ... i;m no expert at naval semaphor... .. but i do know those flags
represent the letters N G W B seen from top to bottom... ...
and in the u.s. navy - from top to bottom... they also mean... 1. we are not watching your movements... .. 2. we are on a set course....
3. attention other ships .... and the 4th red flag means - stay clear we are discharging heavy ordinance..... . ..... so basically
it;s a code to other ships that says.. stay out of our way while we open 59 cans of whup*** .......
on a side note.... that 3rd flag with the blue border and the red dot in the center can also mean.. we require medical assistance... in international code......
but i don;t think that was the flags purpose here... as the medical assistance was undoubtably going to be needed where those missles were going.....

Assad should be scared. He should be really scared....
I didn't want us to get involved but the repeated chemical weapons..... something has to be done. I think Russia was involved. I don't they thought Trump would get involved.
The only question now is how far will this go.....
If I were Trump, I scare Russia. I'd scare them really bad. I'd back them down in Crimea. I'd stage nuclear weapons in Poland and add missile defense.
I think its clear that Russia is not going to work with us on anything. The fact they backed the UN condemnation of Israel should have been proof to the world they aren't going to do what's right.
i think it;s ironic that while the majority of the arab world is standing behind president trump on the missle attack in syria..... and even chuck schumer said it was right thing to do.... ... the liberal mainstream media... a few far left democrats... and even a few hawk minded republicans are either condemning it or finding reason to criticize.... .........if this was obama attacking syria and a few republicans objected... the liberal news media would be accusing all those speaking out against him as having common interests with russia.. assad ... and even of having common ground with north korea and isis.... since both those 2 repeated what the american news media has said about trump multiple times and called trump an idiot after he ordered the attack...... but they fail to draw such broad stretches when it;s their own side agreeing with the russians and the north koreans.... . if they could see themselves the way many americans see them they would be appalled.... or at least we hope they would be.... either way i believe they are allowing their bias and hatred of donald trump the person to cause them to report the news in a way that actually provides an aide and comfort to americas enemies.....
and what john mccain said was absolutely atrocious saying trump was partly to blame for the gas attack... .... just a few hours before that he said he wouldn;t mind going to war with russia.....but the news media took the trump blame for gas attack comment and ran with it..... ....... .. .. ok we get it.... john mccain wanted to be president but the american people said no..... a few years later they said yes to trump and now mccain is sniffing sour grapes..... ..... but he needs to take a page from his own advice he gave trump a few months ago, and stop to consider the effects of his words on the country before he opens his mouth..... he;s starting to make his former running mate sarah palin look like the one possessing verbal discretion.....
and then... in other news...... the rest of the news media continues digging for bones, .... and desperately
hoping somebody will throw them one......

I can't see how Russia wins on this one. There is a good chance that Trump decided to make China an real ally. Probably one the reasons he decided to act after meeting China's leader. If Russia loses China as an ally..... That will be the highlight of Trump's presidency. Maybe the highlight of anyone's Presidency....
i know russia understands that... they don;t want a war any more than we do.... or any more than china does....... ... but there is some
doubt as to whether iran understands it.... and it;s looking more apparent all the time that north korea doesn;t understand it at all..... .....
....they learned nothing from the 59 tomahawk missles sent into syria with surgical accuracy.. or the single bomb dropped in afghanistan
devastating an entire tunnel complex and wiping out over 100 isis fighters... ...but a message that could be tailor made just for north
korea, is slowly making it;s way into their waters now......... will they get that message?..... only time will tell.......
personally i would not want to be living in a rogue state that something like the carl vinson and it;s entire battle group was coming to deal with...
..... but living on an island that is well within the range of north korean missles, i can tell you it;s indeed a comfort to be living under the protection
of a battle group like that..... and knowing our countrys navy can put 19 more out to sea just like it..... ...... and that;s not even counting what
the airforce with aircraft stationed at multiple bases all over the western pacific can do......
