As often as not, I encounter Bit Ninja as I try to navigate the forum. It doesn't seem to matter whether I am logged in or not. And I am never "verified" at the end of the questions. Sometimes, I can exit and re-enter, as I have done just now, and sometimes not. I have never logged onto this forum from a different computer. I have a desktop at home, which is the only computer I have ever used to access this forum. What's the deal?

It must be something built into the host server. I'll see what I can find out.
Today is the first time I have logged in since this bit ninja post. I don't know if you did anything in particular, but I haven't had any problems today, and I've posted on a few threads. Whatever, I thank you! I like this forum, but it was quite frustrating to be blocked by bit ninja.

There was an on an off issue with the host server but I think they have it corrected. Let me know if you have anymore issues. Thanks!

.... i am not sure if i ever encountered it before or not... ... there have been times posting on this forum was extremely slow due to typed characters not loading or showing up on screen or showing up very slowly... ... is that bit ninja?... .....
Bit Ninja is a security screen that "verifies" the user is not a robot. It also states that the computer's IP is suspected of some sort of nefarious activity. I don't remember the exact wording. It shows several pictures with instructions to click all the pictures that have __________. For example, street signs or flowers, etc.
The problem I had was that I would answer several questions, only to be told that I couldn't be verified. It sometimes prevented access to the forum. As I understand it, it can permanently block an IP, which mine never was, but it sure was a pain in my bony backside. LOL
Bit Ninja has kind of a cool logo. It reminds me of a minion wearing a black ninja mask. LOL
