I already posted once about the unzipped jean shorts trend.  Another trend has bothered me for quite a while.  But before I get to it, allow me to explain where I'm coming from.

I love beauty.  I love the beauty of birds, flowers, mountains, the beach, and women's faces, among other things.  Recently, Tumblr banned nudity.  While this offends my libertarian sensibilities, it really pleases me, personally, because I get to browse through photos of women without having to see nudes, which is something I don't want to see.  In fact, I'd prefer not to even see bodies.  I like faces.  Unfortunately, there's no filter for faces only, which is why I noticed the unbuttoned, unzipped jean shorts.  (You can also see it on the streets, too, especially in college towns.)

Now, let's get a few things straight.

1. No, I do not lust after these women.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  In fact, even if I were young, handsome, rich and desirable, you couldn't pay me to date 99.9% of these women.  It's something of an irony that the fact that they're so aware that they're attractive that they'd want to be advertised on Tumblr/Instagram/etc is exactly why I'd run from them as far as I could get.  I mean, would you like to date a playboy bunny?  I sure wouldn't. 

2. There's also the issue that some of them are surely porta potty women.  If you don't know what that means, don't look it up unless you want to vomit.

3. While I tend to prefer natural beauty, I admit that sometimes "glam" (makeup) looks very pretty.  I'd hate to see what they look like without all that makeup, but then they don't show themselves that way.  That's one reason why I find Asians like my wife so beautiful - they look so beautiful without any makeup at all.  And, to me, my wife is the most beautiful of all. 

Okay, now that I've gotten all that out of the way, to the point.  

Here's the weird trend I've seen for at least a couple years, primarily among Asians.  They like to take a selfie with a toothbrush in their mouth.  Can someone please tell me what that's about?  I finally found out why Asians like to flash the peace sign, but I'm still baffled by the toothbrush thing.  It's not sensuous.  If they're going for sensuous, they should stick with the traditional strawberry or something (which, to me, is just as silly, but at least it makes sense from a normality point of view).

I had no idea what a porta potty woman was until I watched a MGTOW video (Men Go Their Own Way) a few weeks ago.  He mentioned "porta potty Instagram models" and I was totally confused by it.  So I had to look it up.  I almost vomited.  

Speaking of which, I wouldn't call myself MGTOW, but I can see why many men are going MGTOW and staying out of relationships.  Looking back on my failed relationships, I can see that if I had been red pill MGTOW at the time, they never would have gone past one or two weeks.

I should have provided some context. The MGTOW guy was telling guys to avoid selfie addicts like Instagram women at all costs, especially porta potty Instagram models, and he explained how you could identify them. Apparently they always tag their sponsors. I don't even have or view Instagram, but it still sparked my curiosity of what he was talking about, which is why I looked it up.

living here in a famous tourist destination i have noticed one side effect of the selfie craze that is actually not too hard to deal with..... ....back before the invention of the cell phone camera and more specifically the selfie stick... tourists used to approach us all the time in waikiki, with a camera in their hands, and ask us to take a picture of them with something interesting in the back ground.... most of us here never minded that and even considered it an honor to do so..... ... .. .... but not any more.... ... it;s rare to be asked to take someones picture now days...... ....today the tourists all hold cameras out on selfie sticks and take vacation pictures of themselves without assistance.... .. we just stand back and watch..... ...but most of us still make a courteous effort to at least stay out of their picture.... ...although there are a few clowns here and there who make it their business to photobomb peoples picture attempts by doing something stupid or obnoxious behind them.... ..... ....... but not me....... .no,.. seriously.... i never did that..... 

Yeah, I view some Tumblr, but that's about it. I have a funny account on Twitter which I use to mock CNN, among other fake news outlets, but I don't use it for more than that. I also follow Trump and Sean Spicier (a parody of Sean Spicer that people STILL think is the real Sean Spicer, which makes for great comedy). And I do all this on the computer, not on my phone. I like a big screen, not a tiny hand-held screen.

Selfie sticks crack me up. My wife got one (I've never seen her use it) and I asked her if she's 13 years old now.
