i keep hearing liberal members of congress and the main stream news media say that if president trump doesn;t cooperate with partisan politicans trying to impeach him and over throw his administration, that he is committing obstruction against a co-equal branch of government.....

pardon me if i am wrong about this.....  but i was under the impression ..through my own study of the u.s. constitution... that the congress was created to act as a body... ...and they can only act as a body once they have voted on a issue and reached either a consensus or a majority...... .....individual congressmen... elected to represent a small portion of americans respective of a region of the country.... and acting on their own.... do not have co-equal power with the office of the president who is elected by a the nation as a whole, and represents all americans.......  ...

in other words.... shifty schiff and nervous nancy do not have co-equal power with the president when acting without an official vote in the congress having been taken....... each of them only represents a small group of people in california....... congress can only say they represent all americans... and exercise that co-equal power... when they have voted and each member of congress elected by those americans goes on record with their vote...... we don;t elect a president through news media straw polls and according to which member of congress makes the most noise.... and a president should not be impeached by such criteria either.....

am i right about this?....... ...if so then why is no one on the republican side bringing this up?.......  they keep pointing out that the congress has not yet voted on impeachment but they fail to explain why that is important..... instead they allow the democrats to ramble on about "co-equal branches" and fling charges of obstruction basically unchallenged.... ........are they waiting for it to reach the supreme court... (the other co-equal branch that acts as a body) ....and to let them spell it out?.... ......  ...

You're absolutely right.....

They only act as a coequal branch of government when they act as a body united in purpose.

Rumors are the IG report is coming out Friday. Expect a ton of speculation to be dumped about Trump later in the week to try and get people attention away from the IG report.
i watched the lt col vindman testimony today.... and 3 things stood out perfectly clear to me ... ... the 3rd of which i still can;t believe the republicans haven;t picked up on and pursued further......

1... vindman seems to believe he is the official authorized to determine and set u.s. foreign policy with the ukraine... and not the president of the united states.......  republicans should have pointed out a little more effectively that the constitution duly authorizes the president to determine all foreign policy with all countries.... and not a u.s. army officer.... regardless of whether he might have been born in a particular foreign country or not..... ......

2... vindman was born in the ukraine.... probably still has family living there.....  and therefore has a personal interest in how any u.s. policy affects the ukraine.... .. so his "objection" to what he says he thinks president trump was trying to do has little to do with trump attempting to do something illegal or unethical....  and everything to do with trying to stop whose foreign policy might not serve his own interests...... ...again...he sees himself as the official foreign policy szar for the ukraine....

3... the ukrainian government actually offered... on 3 occasions... to give lt col vindman a position within their government that would have placed him in control of ukraines military..... ..... do republicans understand that was an open attempt to draw the united states military directly into their war with russia?....... do the democrats not have any concerns about that?...... ..no doubt something like that would be popular with the deep state and the democrat war mongers of the u.s. state department..... ....and i think that reveals what rankles the deep state about president trump the most..... trump has once again refused to allow the u.s. to get involved in another foreign war..... .. and foreign wars seem to be the very bread and butter of the democrats and the deep state......

vindman should have been directly confronted with what it is he really wants to see the u.s. do in the ukraine.... .. and why it is he believes he has the right to help overthrow a duly elected u.s. president to bring it about.... ....i for one believe that whether he realizes it or not...... (and that is giving him the benefit of the doubt).... that he is acting as foreign agent and operative for certain political factions of the ukraine.... ....  35

of course these are only my personal opinions and observations.... .. and i have no official part in setting u.s. foreign policy towards the ukraine..... .  21
