short answer?..... they find the idea they might be insignificant unbearable....
i don;t think many people know the answer to the next question...... if they stop to consider it they would realize they are already important to the people in their lives who depend on them..... ..but it never seems to be enough does it?......

I read these words in Timothy many years ago...... and realized just how far from reality we often live.....
1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
If we just realized how important we are to God, nothing else really should elicit our attention.
