I'm going to ask a difficult theological question. Which is something I've done for a large portion of my adult life. I've always seemed to get in "trouble" for asking honest, hard hitting questions. 

There is nothing wrong with an honest, sincere question. Nothing. Jesus often silenced critics with questions. 

What is the difference between the children of Job and the children of Abraham?

There are many similarities between Job and Abraham. 

I know what I want to say, but I would like to hear from you.....

i believe paul had several problems.... ..including one that he called his "thorn in the flesh".... and which he admitted troubled him to the point he even prayed that God would remove it.... ...... ...personally.... and it;s only my opinion.... . but i believe i know what that particular problem was.... ...and it;s also involves brutally honest and hard hitting questions.. ....... .... . but after reading the rest of the first post i realize this thread has nothing to do with that.... ..so i;ll move on...... 

but as far as the questions posed in the op?..... ..i honestly have no idea...... ..i know what some of the similarities are between abraham and job..... but i have no idea how their children are different... .. except for the fact that we have a well documented biblical record of what happened to the children of abraham...... yet very little if anything is mentioned about the children of job.... .....

also.....i don;t know how anything regarding that issue became a problem for paul.... ....maybe i missed something in my personal studies.... ... but i am very interesting and willing to learn about it.....

If PAUL had a problem it was his love for those who rejected him. The Jews that sought to kill him.

I'd almost say that Paul might have done a few things that might have been a mistake for him in relation to how he dealt with the Jewish people. He started out boldly proclaiming that Jew and Gentile are joint heirs and of the same body. That there were really no difference between Jews and Gentile to giving Jewish converts what they wanted. A way to feel superior.
