..completely do away with the professional football league.... de-fund the multi-million dollar salaries currently paid to over glamourized players and turn their overly expensive stadiums into rodeo and bullfighting arenas..... (or something else if that is not acceptable..).... continue playing football through college and at the amateur level by all means... .. but if football players want to continue playing after college then let them play in the city parks for free.... ...put out some hats to collect donations from anyone who comes to watch them..... ....and let those guys playing in the park be as politically active as they want.... but abolish this idea of over paid entertainers... ..(and that;s all pro-football is... entertainment...) .. ..waxing political on the customers dime when they are paid to play football.....

now... ..let the people on the left currently calling for defunding police, or doing away with the police altogether ... and holding up kneeling pro athletes as their protest heros... ....put that in their pipe and smoke it.... ... ... ...

..... ..unless..... of course... .. they would agree to overhauling the NFL and making the racial breakdown of it;s players accurately reflect the racial and sexual breakdown of all american citizens in the country... ...enforce a kind of affirmative action on the NFL and set quotas for the hiring of each racial group and gender in accordance to what percentage of americans that racial group or gender represents..... ...

for example..... in order to be fair, woke and appropriately pc, .... fully half the players on the NFL field should be female....and personally i would like to see a few more hispanic.. middle eastern.. native american and asian americans in the NFL line ups too..... ..not to mention a few more that represent the majority race of what this country actually is.... .and while they are at it go find a few homeless americans from the street.... a prerequisite number of transgender and gay americans..... and even a few illegal immigrants from the fields and put them in a NFL uniform.. ... then let the leftists.... (but especially the pro-football players kneeling during the national anthem).... put that in their pipe and smoke it too.... .... ...i;ll even roll it into a cigar... put it between their teeth, and light it for them if they like..... ..

(and yes.... even though i am a non-smoker i do know how to roll cigars..... just one of the many things i have studied on my own and learned how to do during leisure time..... ..of which some people think i have too much of..... )

and while i;m at it... ....i think the same thing should be done to the NBA... ....and ... in fact... ..i was thinking about that months ago when certain NBA players refused to support the people of hong kong in their fight against communist totalitarianism... ..and bent over backwards for communist china instead. ....but i mentioned the NFL first, coz i was actually a fan of pro football for many years... ...since childhood in fact.. ... and was emotionally affected by actions of some of the players... .which i saw as a betrayal of both fans and the country.... ....... .but i never was a fan of basketball... ...at any level.. or in any form or fashion.... .

so to be fair.. since i came out against the NFL... i might as well say the NBA should be subjected to a form of affirmative action too.... ...make certain that no pro basketball team takes to the court unless their team roster accurately reflects the racial and gender breakdown of america.... ..... and they better have a few undocumented immigrants on their teams as well.... ....(whether they have ever played basketball or not or even believe basketball exists or not.)... .....it;s all in the interest of fairness.... .... and....if the government can enforce such a policy on paid workers in churches.... (telling churches they must hire atheist staff members and pro-abortion advocates or else)..... then they can do it for everybody who gets a paycheck from the NBA as well...... or demand they be abolished... .. defunded at the very least.. .....

but i should address something i said in the opening post.... ...i mentioned that i supported turning football stadiums into pro rodeo and bullfighting arenas.... ...... .why?.... ..because nobody in rodeo or bullfighting gets paid millions of dollars simply for showing up... ...the pay scale in both those sports is directly related to performance... .. and on a daily basis too... ....if you ride all your bulls on monday and get a fat paycheck for your efforts.... but get bucked off on tuesday... .. then tuesday you go home with empty pockets... ... and it;s even worse in bull fighting... ....a successful day in the ring can put you in the cash..... but a bad day can put you in the hospital with no way to pay the bill... ..or worse.... ..in the ground with what was left of the bulls who had a bad day..... ..after the bulk of them was turned into canned shredded beef.....

and......... ....... .....while i;m still on the subject..... ... .. major league baseball can go back to the sandlots and backstreet junkyards too..... ....

pro baseball players kneeling in disrespect of the national anthem is bad enough ... but the washington nationals inviting dr "imagines himself god" fauci to throw out the first pitch, rather than the actual president... which has always been tradition... .. and citing their admiration of fauci as the true hero of the country... ..and as if it was up to fauci all along whether they got to play baseball this year or not.... ...tells me they think more of the communist socialist model of having a country run by bureaucrats rather than elected officials.... ..they might think otherwise if fauci does a reversal... .. like he is has been prone to do... and decides sports like baseball.. basketball.. and football are all too dangerous to be allowed to continue... and must be banned permanently.... ...

one of these days a professional sports team is going wake up and realize that the people pushing and applauding them for making left wing political statements, and taking anti-american stands.... or kneels as it were.... are not the same people who buy tickets to their games.... ...and without those people.. ...the fans..... . .there is no getting paid millions to throw footballs ...bounce basketballs.... or whack baseballs with a stick then run in a circle around some canvas bags..... ....and as far as endorsements go.. ...shoe companies can only offer millions as sponsors when those same fans buy their shoes... ..and they won;t be buying them if the players ain;t playing..... ....

plus i know more than one former fan of a particular sport who has burned a pair of name brand shoes over political statements the company made in the past year or so.... whether or not the player that started the political controversy was still playing....

so..... .....where is this all going?...... ...hopefully back to the days when college sports was the main weekend attraction and after a player graduated they went on to work the job they studied for while there.... ...or into the full time military as is still the case with army..navy.. and air force academy teams..... ....except college sports teams aren;t immune from political controversy either... ... it;s just a little easier to tolerate when you know they are more likely to be paying 7 figure sums for the privilege of being in the game.... rather than getting paid that kind of money .. ........but then there is the issue of sports scholarships too... ....but that;s another subject....
