1st, he needs to pardon kyle rittenhouse..... ..i;ve seen every video of the incident from every angle... including all the videos of interviews of the blm and antifa mobsters who readily admit they were trying to severely injure and even kill him and other trump supporters, even before the shooting started.... ..they thought they had a right to at least "beat them down" simply because rittenhouse and others had prevented the mob from burning down a gas station they had targeted for arson earlier that evening..... ......kyle rittenhouse was defending himself.. plain and simple... ... but the left will go overboard to make an example of him once biden is in office and nobody will be able to stop them at that point...... .....trump should pardon him.
then he also needs to pardon edward snowden... and julian assange.... ....everything snowden warned about concerning illegal deep state surveillance of american citizens, has proven to be true... and then some.... ... had it been a republican administration snowden spilled the beans on the left would have called him a whistle blower.... ... and it;s pretty much the same with assange... he would have been a hero and a patriot if his actions had somehow benefited the democrats.... ...especially if he had revealed some truth about republicans the way he revealed the true nature of what the democrats were doing.... ..... in both cases the lefts interest in pursuing these 2 people is to shut them up.... ..trump should not let that happen....

He also needs to admit he could have done a better job of controlling the crowd. If reports are correct, he started that today.
i agree... ..he should have done that... ... but it would have only mattered to his base and supporters with common sense.... which i still believe is the majority of us.... ... .it would not have mattered to anybody else... .. it;s on the video and also in the transcript of his speech that he told the crowd to protest peacefully... ..and the vast majority of trump supporters there that day did that.... ... but no news source other than those accused of being his lapdogs will even report that the president called for peaceful protesting ....or that the vast majority of the crowd did as he asked..... ..
thing is.... no matter what donald trump says or doesn;t say concerning the riot.... and no matter what he had said then... .. it would never be good enough... nor would it have ever been good enough.... ..if he took full responsibility now and apologized.. ..offered his resignation... or if he had run to the front of the crowd on january 6th, while they still were on their way to the capitol... and thrown himself down in front of them screaming at them to stop and don;t do it... the democrats would still find a way to say he didn;t do enough..... ....and i think he knows that... ..
i would even go a step further and say that even if the president had cancelled that rally... not shown up to it at all.... but instead sent a message saying it was time to concede... give up... and go home.. and the majority of them did go home.. ..democrats still would have blamed him for any violence that occurred around the capitol that day.... ....... i realize that all sounds over the top... ...but over the top is exactly how democrats operate when it comes to donald trump....
democrats in hawaii still blame donald trump for the 40 minutes of sheer terror they put the entire state through when they accidentally set off an incoming nuclear missile alert... ... then couldn;t turn it off because the democrat governor had forgotten his password to the system.. and nobody else had access to it.. ... ..
not a single republican nor even a republican supporter was anywhere near that incident... (republicans are almost non-existent in hawaii state government)... and even the military here didn;t know what the state had done until the fiasco was well under way.... .. it was entirely a state of hawaii comedy of errors... ..but they blame the president anyway....
and for the next 4 years or how ever long democrats remain in power, they will continue to blame trump for anything and everything that goes wrong.... ..he;s their perfect scapegoat.... someone they hate and who they will never get tired of hating or blaming for things.... even when they did those things or themselves..... and especially when they did those things themselves... ....
and now it;s too late.....
this is probably the one thing that trump did prior to leaving office... . or neglected to do.... that has disappointed me most.... .and i don;t understand it.... ..pardoning edward snowden and kyle rittenhouse might have been risky things to do.... (though not compared to some of the pardons obama handed out... )..... but there was really no reason not to pardon julian assange... ....
obama pardoned the guy.. (chelsea manning)...who turned himself into a gal.... after he had violated his high level clearance to leak the controversial video that julian assange first got into trouble over... for simply publishing as a journalist.... which..as a journalist was well within assanges rights. . ...
as a government employee manning had a duty to protect that classified video..... .. but julian assange had no obligation to keep it secret.... .. he also had no obligation to keep the dnc emails secret either..... as he was not the one who orignially hacked them or leaked them........ .his persecution by the u.s. justice department is entirely political.... and if the u.s. is successful in prosecuting him it will be a prosecution of revenge..... ...in my opinion, president trump did both him.. and the rest of us who still value freedom.. a disservice by not giving assange a pardon....
without a pardon edward snowden will simply stay in russia.. ... and it;s not certain he would come back to the u.s. even if given pardon..... ... but kyle rittenhouse is going to become a scape goat and a whipping boy for the left.... who badly wants to strike out at anyone they can who opposed their antifa and blm arsonists over the summer - and make an example of them..... ...
.the democrats and main stream media have already falsely labelled rittenhouse a white supremacist..... ...no doubt president trump would have taken a lot of heat if he had pardoned him.... but if he thought refusing to pardon rittenhouse was going to soften the anger of the democrats and reduce the chance they might find him guilty of the charges they have filed in their sham of an after term impeachment... he is sadly mistaken.... ....they are going to do it anyway.... democrats don;t honor promises they made on record... much less offers they merely implied..... bidens first few days in office has shown proof of that.....
ok.... well... now after kyle rittenhouse has been acquitted on all charges... i guess i can finally forgive former president trump for not pardoning him before he left office.... .... a jury verdict of not guilty is always better than a pardon.... even a presidential pardon.... ..believers in the u.s. constitution have won today... and political persecuter/prosecuters have lost..... ....for now....
now we will just have to wait and see what becomes of julian assange... another politically motivated prosecution.... ...
and for the record i have watched all the videos in question surrounding that case too.. ...including the infamous video from the apache gun cameras... that the government originally classified... and the leak of which, by chelsea manning... followed by the legally protected reposting by julian assange... that led to this controversy.... ..and i actually agree with the government on the video itself.... .. it shows u.s. apache helicopter crews doing their jobs in the way they were trained... it does not show "collateral murder"... as assange claimed it did... .....
but that is not the issue.... as a journalist assange clearly had the right to post that video... ..especially after the former government employee who had leaked it was pardoned by obama..... but that;s what adhering to a constitutional principle above and beyond personal opinions means... .... standing up for the rights of someone you disagree with... because they are exercising their rights.... whether or not we believe they would stand up for us in the same way....
