Hopefully I won't get banned for using Tor. The other forum even recommends using it. I thought I might be welcome. I don't know why they assumed I was someone else that had been banned before. Will they ban all Tor users because they come from the same end points?
I don't ban people for using Tor. I give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise.

Tor is an anonymous web browser based on firefox. It uses the "Onion" network to proxy information between resources.
It does cause problems at times with people that don't understand it. The "end points" of the network is all that is seen by the website. That end point is often mistaken as being the same person but there are literally ten of thousands of people that might use the same end point. Tor is great project. It helps internet users in oppressed country bypass restrictive controls on information.
Its sad when someone assumes a single IP represents a single person. That hasn't been true for a very long time. I assume that's why the other forum banned me. They associated my IP with someone else when its just a TOR end point.
Yeah, people use Tor, VPNs and proxies for privacy. And sometimes that means multiple people who have no knowledge of each other show up with the same IP address. FSSL claims not to be tech savvy, but then he builds and manages web sites as a business, so it's hard to take his claim seriously.
