Folks, I have a humorous and helpful tale for you.
Years ago, I learned:
1) Some stupid people LOVE to get into stupid arguments with intelligent people

because

2) The stupid person often wins

because

3) The intelligent person isn't experienced at being stupid, while the stupid person is

Therefore

4) Stupid people who observe the argument will agree that the stupid person won

and

5) Within days or even hours, stupid people who weren't present will be giving eyewitness testimony that the stupid person won.

I try to avoid the word "stupid" when describing others.

Is there any biblical case for calling someone stupid?

I believe Jesus came rather close Matthew 16:3

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Both of you make valid points. Decades ago, I taught Christian school for ten years. They hadn't taught us that many of the parents were ungodly rebels who had to put their children in Christian school because the public school teachers would have sued the parents and won. We could handle the kids--it was a small number of parents who caused most of the harm.

We weren't allowed to say "stupid." We weren't allowed to even think "stupid." But we actually had parents so stupid that their grade school children could send them off to war because a teacher made the child behave.

But that's not what I'm talking about here. In fact, I didn't post this on the other FFF, because I intend to explain myself here, and I don't feel like a bunch of stupid arguments.
There are no children present here so you may say "that" word.
Thank you, JrChurch. And I want to explain that if anyone wishes to courteously disagree with me, your comments are welcome.

Continuing the subject of arguing with stupid people:

I'm currently in a hate fest on a technical forum because I stated that there are no computers on the market designed for Windows 10. All new computers are designed for Windows 8.1, even if they have 10 installed at the factory. One fellow has almost gone insane with hatred. I'm glad I live in Mexico because of all the threats of revenge that I'm getting from this guy. Others are frantically informing people that the new computers have stickers saying that they are compatible with Windows 10 (They are. But they're designed for Windows 8.1). Another fellow is giving eyewitness testimony that I'm lying.

I have twice won a major argument on a Christian forum with stupid people, but this is my first one on a tech forum. I'll be explaining how to deal with this in future posts.

While mostly true, there are a few on the market designed for Windows 10. Check out Alienware. Expensive but good laptops. Better than any Mac.... in my opinion.

In my opinion, Windows 10 is much better than Windows 8.1. Its already close to being as good as Windows 7. I've been running it now for months on an old HP laptop. I like it, but I'm a IT nerd to some degree. I like Linux Mint or Fedora.

For some people, change is a very ugly word.

LOL....

Service Pack 1 for Vista wasn't too bad. The initial release was a real disaster.
Before moving on: I appreciate the courteous responses of people who disagree with me on Windows 10. For argument's sake, let's assume that you are correct. 1) Do you wish to make this a matter of hatred? 2) Do you wish to seek revenge? Of course not. But on this one tech forum...

Okay--moving on:

The cause of stupidity isn't a lack of intelligence. The cause of stupidity is sin.

A refusal to learn, a desire for revenge, too much pride to admit you were wrong, a desire to be superior, hatred, and a rejection of wisdom are some of the causes of stupidity.

But a person who merely lacks intelligence can advance if he will listen and learn.
