The Fighting Fundamental Forums

I'm tempted to create two socks named Bing and Google.  That way when it says those "users" are on the forum, nobody will ever know if it's me lurking the forum, or if the Bing or Google search engine is just web crawling it.  This would be a great avatar for Bing.  It's a hyperactive lizard character named "Bing" from the cartoon "The Angry Beavers".  

we would still know it;s you....... .... .... the real google doesn;t show up on the members list but you would if you had a sock puppet named google..... ... and then if that sock wasn;t invisible it would show up in the members list as being actively online....... and if it was invisible...... it wouldn;t matter coz nobody would see it anyway..... .......but it is a humorous idea......  .. sort of....   ...

but on the not so humorous side........ some stalkers actually do use google and bing to stalk the targets of their nefarious attentions...... ... and if you are someone who has been stalked that way before ....... or if you know that there are people out there who would like to do you harm ...... it can be pretty unsettling to see a search engine looking at your profile....... 

I never thought of that (using the name Google to stalk people). But now that you mention it, it could be a serious problem.
