in case you missed it in the theater.... the dvd for the movie risen
was released today...... i picked one up this morning....

it follows a roman soldier who has been charged with finding the body of Jesus
after He disappeared from His tomb following the crucifixion.......

it;s an awesome movie..... one that is almost hard to believe hollywood
actually made when you consider what they are usually putting on the
screen....... check it out if you can..... not everyone will agree with everything
that;s in this movie...... and parents are cautioned that there is some considerable
skin shown in a few scenes.... mostly the dead and decomposing kind.. ..

........
but i believe most christians will also find a lot in this movie they do agree with......
it was well worth the price of a movie ticket and even more worth the price of a dvd.....

I've heard it was good. I'll have to check it out.

I enjoyed the Passion of the Christ, even though I disagreed with much of it. Let's face it, most preachers can't get the story right.... Smile

did you ever get a chance to see this movie?........ ...i;m still in a state of shock that hollywood actually made it... it;s at the top of my all time favorite movie list... ...... ..........on the other hand ... though it was a great movie and i still enjoyed it.... i;m nontheless still a little disappointed about the way they made the movie revenant... ... .... the true story behind revenant is one of forgiveness and redemption.... ..not one of revenge.... the word revenant itself means "as one who returned from the dead...".... .......but i guess they didn;t think the real story of a man surviving against incredible odds then finding it in himself to forgive those who left him behind, would sell as well... ... it;s sad, really..... .. coz they might be right.....
