oops!.... negative report exposing dangers of using facebook removed by left wing liberal news media..which is the mouthpiece of the democrat party.... as facebook has proven itself a staunch ally and cadre of all things left and democrat... ...afterall..... you can;t cast shade on the organization that is censoring your enemies for you, and who is going to help you usher in the great reset... the turn to national socialism... and the green new deal....

There are a multitude of privacy issues on social media, especially for young people.  However, I'm so dull that a creeper would fall asleep trying to locate me. 

I have two facebook accounts; one with my real name, where I keep my political or other controversial views to a minimum, and one with a fake name where I can post anything I want.

The former is where I keep in touch with old friends and I'm not worried what my employers will think if they view it.

The latter is where I have friends I've met through political and other sites, and it's where I "let loose" and post anything I find humorous or interesting even if it might offend people.

I actually have two more fake name accounts I used to use as backups when my main fake name got banned by Facebook for posting conservative cartoons. Since then, though, I almost always post only for friends to see (not public), and haven't been banned since. Facebook really is Fascistbook, a fact which has been supported by recent revelations that their staff deliberately censors conservative viewpoints.

it;s also the first place federal law enforcement goes online when they open an investigation on someone....... ... why?........ because once you sign in to facebook it mines every piece of information about you it can find from your computer...... and with over 1 billion people in the world using facebook there is a better than average chance all the information they need on any particular individual will be there...... .......... 

of course facebook assures it;s users it will never sell or divulge their personal information without permission or good cause... but most people would agree that a federal investigation is as good a cause as any.....and would say that only the criminals would fear such a thing........   ..but whether facebook gives them permission or not the federal government hackers can easily get what they want from facebook anyway...... it;s like an open pit mining operation that knows how to dig up mega tons of material but has no clue on how to guard or protect it.......

and the problem with all that is not the hackers working for the federal government... .... it;s the ones out there in the criminal sector who are every bit as capable as their federal counterparts...... and in most cases better...... who are hacking into accounts and gathering information for criminal purposes rather than lawful investigations......

You're right about that.....

Facebook is one of the worst "data miners" in the business. So is Google. So is Amazon. Amazon ads follow me EVERYWHERE...

i;m still not a member of facebook.... ... and with all that has happened on it and come out about it in recent months, i am now more happy than ever that i never became a member....... ..... but i learned from a friend this morning that facebook ceo gutenberg wrote a 6000 word manefesto declaring a new direction and new purpose for facebook..... ....i read this gutenberg facebook manefesto online this morning and what i gather from his heavily worded work is that gutenberg simply wants to turn facebook into a stronger propaganda tool for the far left than it already is....... and apparently part of that is effort is going to be tighter control.... or micromanagement... of facebook content in order to more accurately reflect his own liberal and far left views and the views of his staff and friends..... 

i know a lot of very conservative people and free thinking independents who are members of facebook.... and most of them have expressed concern over some of things facebook has done over the past few years..... none of them agree with gutenberg politics.... ...... i am just wondering now how long it will be before we see a mass exodus from facebook of it;s more conservative and independent users.......
