Since Trump was elected, things are happening all over the world. I'm not involved with facebook or twitter, so rarely see any rational or irrational supporters' views. But, as always, I'm interested in opposing views so I thought I'd take a look here and I was amazed to find that I still had an account. However, it looks like there's no much traffic here compared to the original forum.
But good luck and I hope this place can grow...

aloha duncan...... good to see you again.....
... yes this forum is still here although most people that were once active either went to facebook or other social media sites... they still check in now and then but don;t post much..... ...i have always wanted this forum to be more active and have worked ever since it started to keep it that way.... .... but it can be a lonely job........ ...but it;s a much safer job than trying to do anything on facebook... ..i am not on facebook either - in fact it has been blocked on our household computer network since it was started in 2004......

I see that nothing much is happening here.
But as the US is fast becoming an international pariah are their any thoughts here about this...

i;ve been saying a lot about that... .. just on another platform.... . i stick around here the way i do hoping it will become active again.... ..
but as far as the u.s. image overseas - - my family is heavily involved in the military and also doing private contractor work...... most all of it is overseas..... those family members have said for years they did not like the way other countries in NATO freeloaded off the u.s. when it came to their own defense and security..... ..
but if forcing them to pay the money into NATO they all agreed to pay decades ago - or else lose the umbrella of protection we provide for them...... or if demanding greater u.s. presence and control over greenland - which we also provide an umbrella of protection for - and which is vital to security in the northern hemisphere - makes us a pariah... ... then so be it...... -
we won;t refuse to keep protecting greenland because our own national security depends on it - and it has been obvious for over a hundred years that denmark can;t defend it themselves.... ... but whether we jump in immediately to turn russia back from making advances on europe next time... might be a different story....
