Is there anyone else here who attended Maranatha back in the 1982-83 year? I only went there for one year. I had intended to go back for the fall semester of 83, but my family moved from Pekin, IL to Augusta, GA, and I ended up without funds to go. I had a job that was pretty good, so I decided I would stay out and go back the next year. I was engaged to a graduate (1983) of MBBC, but she went back home to Michigan, and our engagement didn't survive the long-distance and time away from each other.
I love this university. I made some wonderful friends there, including my best friend who pastors a church in Pana, IL, and his wife. It's been nearly 40 years, but we're as close today as we were in college.
