I really can't stand to see 2nd Chronicles 7:14 being misused anymore. I can't get past how silly it is to post a verse like 2nd Chronicles 7:14 and then pretend it applies to something to do with sin and repentance in America. 

God didn't send 2nd Chronicles 7:14 to the United States. He sent to Israel. It is a total disgrace to theology to throw around 2nd Chronicles 7:14 like it applies to anything and everything someone wants it to apply. Geesh!!!!!

The same people that so haphazardly throw around 2nd Chronicles 7:14 are the same ones that want to "curse" God's children with so called "Scriptures" that don't apply. Freedom.....

Why don't you choose 

Mat 11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

In fact, there are so many BETTER....... alternatives to 2nd Chronicles 7:14. Maybe....

John 12:32  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 

John 11:25  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 

Lets list some BETTER alternatives. Maybe this "preachers" can grow a little. Not that they think they NEED anything...
