I didn't know that the PMs were in plain text in the database, and you and Tomato did. What are you both hiding? Does Tomato still have the copy of the forum? Apparently. You had my password.
So, when it comes down to maliciousness, your accusations are unfounded and hypocritical.
I've had to know. I don't access such information unless required. In 20 years of administration there have been times I've had to access the information. You had no reason to access the information. Nothing hypocritical about it. I have explained myself. I haven't made unfounded accusations. No. I don't have a copy of the database. Never keep one.
I knew exactly what Rogue was saying. You did too. You run websites for dozens of businesses. I don't know how you expect me to believe you didn't know this.
I do have an old copy of the the database. As I said, I backed it up in case I damaged the forum while trying to change how it shows pictures, and also because FSSL asked me to install updated modules, which is even more risky. I may have erased the backup -- I don't recall. I could check, but if it exists, it's on a disk in a box. I swapped out my drives for bigger/faster ones. But I have an SATA to USB adapter so I could easily view the contents of the old drives and see if it's still there.
Even if it still exists I WILL NOT view the old private messages to prove a point. They are private, and I respect privacy. And unlike FSSL, I am not a liar. I proved my point just as easily with my old Wordpress site.

Yes, I'm aware of that. I just got the two mixed up. I was thinking of phpMyAdmin but said mysqladmin.
phpMyAdmin is about the easiest interface there is for mySQL. Not only can you browse through all the PMs, you could easily look at only those PMs to a certain person, or from a certain person, or both, and even specify the date range. It takes only seconds to do that. It's so easy, even a moron like FSSL or Ransom could do it.
So... FSSL... how does it feel to be called on your bluff, and completely owned as a result? -

You have access to the database, which you implicitly denied. You gave me the username/password for site maintenance, which gave me access to the database, so I could do some work for you (which, by the way, I did for free, in case you forgot).
You could easily give the username/password to Ransom.

It was a colossal mistake to claim you can't read PMs, and then challenge me to prove you can. You can never recover your credibility now. You're finished as a credible forum admin.
You would have had some credibility left if your FIRST response was, "Yes, as site admin, I have the ability to read PMs, and it's actually easy to do, but I would never do that." The reason nobody should believe you now is because, instead, you answered with lies and obfuscation. -

Actually, we're perfectly free to invite anyone to join in this forum, including all the members of your forum.
As forum admin, you have the right and ability to keep us off your forum to prevent us from doing it there. But you have no right to stop any other means by which we invite members.
You also have the right to come here and make demands of what we must do to crawl back into your good graces in order to return to your crap forum. And we have the right to laugh hysterically in response. Which, incidentally, is what I'm doing right now.
By the way, your crap forum is a replicated forum, too, you know. That's how it started. So if it bothers you that this is a "replicated" forum, that's a bit of the clover calling the grass green. The only difference is that we were free to invite others to fff.org back on the ORIGINAL forum, of which yours is a copy. -

Aleshanee was right. I should never have trusted you to have that level of access.
