I must admit. I don't think I'll ever be a "member" of a church somewhere again. This doesn't mean I don't go to church. It just means I don't buy to the idea being sold that you have to commit in such a way to a church somewhere.

It really upsets me that there are so many divided churches all claiming to be on God's side.....

Reminds of the saying.....

"God must grow weary over being called down on both sides of an argument."

Yes, I agree. I stopped attending the home church. I still think the model is best, but I didn't feel like I fit in with that particular group.

I just got a call from a friend's church, so I'll check them out. It's wearisome, though. I've grown accustomed to the life of a hermit.

But I'll never be a "member" of a church again. I'm already a member of the Body of Christ. That's what matters.
