I find it disturbing......
That some people are so caught up in their theology that they can't see the forest for the trees......
You can just about "mark it down". When someone starts quoting Genesis 12:3...... they're are going to want to start talking about how special Israel is to God. This usually comes from dispensationalists that seek so desperately to explain why Jesus hasn't chosen to return to earth yet.
I honestly can't believe that someone could quote Genesis 12 to promote Israel and overlook....
Jesus was made a curse for us.....
Jesus broke down a wall at Calvary. The cursing of Christ is more important than some silly dispensationist drivel.
I want to ask....
What about those that curse the Church? Is this only for "Israel"?
People just can't see the forest for the trees. So blinded by theology.......
Jesus isn't their "first thought" when they seek truth from the Scriptures....
If your theology doesn't start with Jesus........ its worthless.
This isn't aimed at anyone in particular. I just read something from a multi degree theologian that got under my skin....
