Love absent feeling

I was reading through a guys facebook page today and I ran across this old lie.
I know the guy or well knew him when I was much younger. He was the son of a well known evangelist. He's always been a rebel of some sort. Not I disagree with being a rebel. I'm one myself. However, there is a tendency for "rebels" to abandon common sense for the sake of being "different".
Not to mention the fact he's a Calivinist that denies being a Calvinist. You know the ones. The ones say you can't really know the intricate mind and plan of God in Eternity..... Just to turn right around and proceed to go into great detail of how he knows that very plan!!!!!!!!
Anyways, A Calvinist always and I mean ALWAYS wants to take the feeling out of everything. That can't accept emotion. They just can't. If they did, then they wouldn't be a Calvinist. Everything has to be mechanical like "Lincoln Logs" or "Cold Hard Steel". That way, they don't have to feel bad about how their doctrine is so emotionless......
Love is a feeling. Love isn't absent feeling. Its not "giving that turns into feeling".
Love without feeling is absolutely useless. You see it all the time and it makes me sick......
People say "I love you" without one shred of emotion. Granted, I'll admit, sometimes, love is a willing choice made by the mind but it is never absent feeling.
If you truly love something...... YOU FEEL IT!!!!!!!!!!!
