Its always a good idea to just focus on preaching Jesus. You just can't find any fault in Him.
That can't be said of anyone else. I often here others preach sermons on what someone else did or what someone else said. Or maybe tell nostalgic story of some "warrior saint" of yesteryear who "stood in the gap" or "made up the hedge"......
You know what.... The situation is usually never as good as they make it out to be. However....
We Jesus did something.... it was always BIG!!! It always had Eternal consequence or significance.
Of all the things God can do and does do...... there is at least one thing He will never do.
He will not share His Glory with another.
Well.... that's not to say He doesn't share some rather Glorious things with His Own....
Very few people just preach Jesus. Its always Jesus and someone else.... -
