.... and once again the democrats reconfirm their commitment to lies... lawlessness.... and all things anti-american.... ... - just as long as those things can gaurantee them a voter base... and preserve their tenure in office.. ...

with help from of the mainstream media - they are spreading the lie that republicans and namely president trump, are all responisble for this shut down..... even though anyone with a brain ..who pays attention.., knows it was democrats who filibustered the bill that would have kept the government open... ... ..and all for the benefit of illegal immigrants who cannot even vote, for now... but who they hope they can add to their voter base in the near future....... in hopes of indefinitely continuing a policy started by the executive order of a former president, that was unconsitutional from the start...... .
the only people they are fooling are those who are fools already..... ...
for the record... i;m all for giving citizenship to those covered under daca who it can be argued have no memory of ever living in another country... .... but as for those who came here as teenagers and especially those who slipped into the country just under the minimum age of being considered an adult?..... let them take whatever lessons they learned.. skills and education garnered from their stay in the united states so far.... and go back to the country of their birth to use such skills and education to make their birth country better....... ... ..
but as someone who went against the odds and convention, to choose my own path at the age of 10.... .... i don;t buy this idea pushed by liberals that a 17 year old is a helpless child blown by forces of politics and circumstance beyond his contol, and is therefore entitled to college tuition and financial support.. from the pockets of u.s. taxpayers... far into his adult years.. plus automatic u.s. citizenship just because his parents were foreign criminals who flouted u.s. laws..... ...
ok..... end of opinionated rant.... that;s what happens when i break my hiatus from watching the news and actually turn the tv to something other than the discovery channel..... .... i get opinionated...... ...oh well......

today i saw a solitary protester out front of the state capital building with a poster board that had 9 letters on it printed in caps....... it said -"OMG - GOP - WTF" ...... she was wearing an old mickey mouse club hat complete with the ears and everything..... i;m not sure if that means anything in and of itself..... ... it;s hard sometimes to keep up with all the symbolism and messages in their head wear ....... .. maybe she was making a play on the mickey mouse clubs "am eye see... kay he why... am oh you as he"....... if so then she definitely needed help....... both in writing a better message and also in figuring out who was really at fault...... -

thank you..... ....this whole ballyhooed shut down thing has been pretty silly when you think about it.... ..... the majority of actual shutdown time took place over a weekend.... .. a period of time when the government doesn;t do much anyway....... but even funnier than that is the fact that the very same democrats who tried to blame republicans and called it "trumps shutdown" are now blaming democrats in the senate for caving in and allowing the government to re-open.... ...... hard to tell sometimes whether they are really too stupid to see their own hypocrisy... whether they think it;s the voters which are too stupid to notice... ...or both....... -

The thing that gets me about government shut downs is this:
1. It gives extra vacation days to "non-critical" workers...who are customarily paid for the forced time off.
2. It costs taxpayer money to "mobilize" the closing of "non-critical" government services/agencies.
In other words, government shut downs, which should be "budget-positive", or at least "budget-neutral", are in actuality "budget-negative". That doesn't make a lick of sense to me. -

I don't think they're too stupid to see the hypocricy in what they're doing. They're counting the majority of the voters won't see through it. And I'm affraid they're right.
