so... while the democrats have been busy fighting to resist president trumps border policies....
obstructing any effort to find a solution.... squirming in denial over the inspector generals rebuke
of the FBI..... washing the egg off their faces after trumps successful summit with kim jong un...... .
..... then struggling to deal with the fallout a over certain congresswoman - plus other
members of their party and supporters, calling for riots to confront and harass trump cabinet
members in public... .... one of their aces in the hole.... supreme court justice kennedy.... just
sneaked up behind them and stuck them in the backside with a hat pin.... ....
and announced his retirement.........
oh.... the humanity....... ..

i saw someone interviewed on fox news the other day who expressed similar things.... ...he was telling how he made a conscious decision to turn away from most things liberal all at once.... ....i thought that was pretty interesting.. . ....i used to be fairly liberal in many ideas and beliefs.... ..like immigration from countries to the south of the u.s. .. ......even voted democrat a few times.... .... but i never bought totally into everything the democrats and liberals said... ..especially on things like abortion... ......... yet now i find myself agreeing with most things conservatives say.... . even some ultra conservatives... and even on the issue of immigration for the most part... .. but i can;t look back and point to a place where i made a decision to move away from liberalism and move to the right all at once.... ... ... .. it just kinda happened little by little.... .... then again.... ..i still believe in all the core principles i have always had.. ... maybe i didn;t move right that much at all... .. maybe they all moved left.... .or like one conservative commentator said... maybe donalds trumps presidency has flushed out the liberal leadrship and exposed them for what they have really been all along.........

To me.... its really an issue of realism.
Life has a way of teaching us when nothing else will.... God designed this life in this manner to bring us back to reality. We as human beings LOVE to live in fantasy worlds where everything goes exactly how we wish it would go.....
Real life doesn't work that way.
The reasons democrats are losing is their picture of life doesn't match reality. Sooner or later a person will come face to face with the reality of any decision they make. Democrat politics is divorced entirely from reality.
There are many things in the democrat platform I WISH would work. I wish we could keep our doors open at night and never have to worry about crime. I wish we could let anyone and everyone have any and everything they ever wanted but there are limited resources and we are such wasteful creatures.
I wish freedom was really free. If you really believe in absolute freedom. Which I do, then freedom has no power over another. Freedom demands equality. I wish humanity could handle such a thing but it can't. Freedom doesn't exist in democrat politics. It demands everyone be just a like.....

but that;s just it.... freedom means different things to different people.... ...and to most - reality means different things too.... some people openly admit they think reality is merely a matter of perception.... ... while others adhere to what they believe is reality completely unaware that what they take as truth is merely a matter of their own perception.... .... the fact is... and we all know this..... there really is only one truth..... ..but how we all see that truth can depend on where we stand.... or even what our ability to see and make honest assessments is..... . and that can be affected by what we desire or think we need..... and how honest we are in going about to get it..... ...
...for example.... to one person freedom means the right to do unto others... ..or exercise his power over them.... ..... . for someone else it;s the freedom from being done unto.... or to be free from the tyranny of powerful men... ...but the christian should strive to follow the words of Jesus who said .."do unto others as you would have them do unto you....." .... ..if you don;t like the idea of living under tyranny then don;t subject others to it..... or advocate that it be done.... .. ...but unfortunately following what Jesus taught requires the ability to imagine oneself walking in another shoes.... .. living in thier skin so to speak.. .... .....and that;s something i have discovered very few people... even in christian circles.... ... have the presence of mind for ... or the spiritual integrity - intellectual honesty to do.... ... some people are naturally blind to the truth... others blind themselves or allow their desires to blind them.. ..... selfish interests almost always come in and the rule ends up being "do as i say not as i do".... in a world full of physicians who can;t even take their own medicine.... much less heal themselves....... .. ..
understanding reality requires honesty... and it also requires having all the facts... right down to the last detail...... ...few people who make decisions for and about others. ... even with the best of intentions... have even a fraction of the facts the other person lives with..... .so they make assumptions based on a false reality about that person they have invented for themselves..... ....but those with selfish intentions or ulterior motives.... make up a false story and call that reality..... ....often coming off very convincingly as the one who is trying do the right thing.... or having only the best intentions for someone else... ... when nothing could be further from the truth.....
and there we have the current crop of democrats.... ...adovcating socialism for the rest of us knowing none of them would ever have to live under it themselves.... . bernie sanders... who would have everyone in the country living barely above the poverty level.. is himself one of the richest people in the country.... .. he also lives in a gated community with armed guards that protect him night and day..... . ...so does every other "raise your taxes and take your guns away" democrat senator and congressman.... .... ... and that is why more and more people are walking away from them..... ... ...when obama care was signed into law, the lawmakers.... including obama .... conveniently left themselves out of it.....providing for themselves a better system.... ....like they say ....nothing un-nerves a socialist like the prospect of actually living under socialism...... .they see socialism as one of those things that;s good for everybody else...but not for them..... .. but the only people it is really good for are those who contribute nothing to it..... .and those who never will .... the ones who live free off the "handouts" taken from others who worked to earn them... ... ..working people have always known that.... and others are beginning to see it.. ......and i believe that is both due to donald trump being elected.. and also why he was...........
