I know you face unique circumstances where you have physical issues that result in physical responses that produce emotional responses as well. There is no doubt there are times that you have control over your emotions and times you do not. Mental health is often interchangeable with physical health. I know that is your situation and I'm NOT....in any way trying to directly challenge your theology concerning such.
I do believe that you've obviously asked God for peace and God has given it to you. Peace goes a long way in the "health" of an individual. While you may not have all you want or even need, the Presence of God in your comments indicates God is with you.
I do try to challenge perspective. I constant challenge my own perspective. Reasoning the Scriptures and their application in our lives is essential to our own personal growth in Jesus Christ. You never have to listen to anyone other than Jesus Christ. Find peace in what He declares directly in your life.
I do believe I've been accurate in what I've said about Job, Jonah and others. I believe I've been accurate in what I've said about myself. God only know if any of this has any direct application to you or not. I don't speak for God. I simply try to recognize what the Scriptures teach and apply them given my own experience. God knows you better than I ever will and that is what I desire for you. That you know Him more and more each day. I desire that for myself.
thank you for writing this post.... ....i understand you have very strong beliefs concerning the issues i have contended with you about, on in these 2 threads.... .. and i don;t think those beliefs you have simply came from an emotion or a feeling... ..i know you studied the bible and that you believe the way you see things is founded in scripture.... .. .on top of that you have experiences that you believe back up those beliefs....
i have strong beliefs about these issues as well... .i also believe the scriptures teach these things in the way i have come to see them... and i also have experiences... .. most of which are vastly different than yours.... ....yet we both believe we have seen the hand of God work in the things we have experienced.. .....
perspective is generally the view of things from where you stand... . the position from which you see it..... .what you see from one place may look very different when you walk a little ways up the street and take a second look..... who is to say that either of us is wrong and the other is right?..... ..not everybody sees life from the same place or under the same conditions ...we often interpret those life experiences differently than someone else might have done.. ..yet we could still both be right about what we have seen so far... but neither of us have the whole story.... ..
and though we must all come to Jesus at the cross... . and at the cross we all stand on level ground...... we do not all arrive at that cross by the same paths..... ...some might have traveled high roads through the mountains.. others traveled through valleys.... still others came by way of the sea.. ..and when we return home to share the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Christ, as i believe He has commanded us to do... then we will go back on those same pathways....
and i believe that where ever God sends us... whether it is back home or to a new land... He will give us the gifts we need to share His gospel... and to do the work He commands us to do.... .i believe that those gifts whether they be material.. physical.. or spiritual, and whether they appear to be better gifts than other christians receive or not.... they are not intended for our use and enjoyment alone.. .. they are not a reward to us for being good christians.... they are to be used in the service of God and for His glory... .......our rewards from God will come after this life is over....
i truly believe that we agree on that much....
