Contrary to what you may believe, there are some Christians who oppose anything in the field of science.

i responded to you the way i did because you came off as an arrogant sarcastic nimrod ... and you are still doing that now - not wishing to discuss differences in opinions and beliefs but ready to bulldoze anything and everything you disagree with and declare your views "facts".... ...and in my opinion you were answered accordingly...... .
so what is your problem?........ you don;t like being disagreed with?...... .. did you miss the sign on the front door of this forum declaring it a fighting fundamentalist forum?...... .. arguing and disagreeing with beliefs others mght have and stating our case is what we do here....... and that includes taking other posters to task when they come off as pig headed and full of themselves - - and especially when they bust in like that as new forum members and go straight to preaching without even offering the courtesy of introducing themselves - which is what most serious new members do when they first join up.. .
but if you can;t handle being taken to task for your attitude and rude manner of communicating...... or being answered with the same kind of medicine you doll out...... ..or... if you came here with a chip on your shoulder and an axe to grind - - then too bad for you... coz none of that is my problem...... get over yourself.....
oh... and by the way..... welcome to the fighting fundamentalists forum......

Those comments are sexist and disrespectful. Granted, aleshanee may have overstated her statements a tad, but, that's no reason for your comments. You're showing you're a boorish swine...I would suggest you apologize but, that's up to you. I'm not your father. -

brother tony is right.. ....looking back i can see i did overstate my opinions and objections to indsky... . i could have been a lot more polite about it... ..and i apologize.... ....and just to be clear - this is not my sandbox... i;m not the alpha anything here and have no priviledges or powers here that everyone else does not also have...... .... .... it;s never my intention to bug anybody... just to discusss our beliefs in scriptural matters which also includes arguing the differences we might have in those beliefs....... ....i just need to rmember to do that in a more friendly manner...... thanks brother tony.... -

and then... to address what it was that initially caused me to see a red flag waving where indsky is concerned is this..... - - we were discussing "theories"... and he comes in in a very arrogant manner declaring his beliefs as the "fact"..as if to shut down.. nullify or otherwise render invalid all other discussion on the issue... .. rather than discussing the issue as a difference of opinon among intelligent people on theories... he tries to convert the argument into one of stupid people vrs smart people ........
.. i;ve seen that tactic used in discussions among fundamentalists many times and all it always gets them nowhere.... instead of considering each others points they take hard stands against them and then split off from each other..... or in this case - as with most cases where someone busts in anonymously under a newly created name.. to argue a single pet issue - they simply run back to where they came from...... and in indskys case playing the gender card on the way out .... .....
