I went to wally world and sat on a few and I don't remember them being so tall. 
I've always liked being able to sit flat footed but when I found one I could, it seems really short on rotation.

Do not buy a bike from Wally World, or pretty much any "big box" type of store. The assembly is (usually) terrible, the parts are junk and the bike will weigh a ton. I was in a Walmart not too long ago and walked past the bikes. One of the mountain bikes on display had disc brakes and I noticed that the front wheel was on backwards (the disc was on the right side when it needed to be on the left side of the fork).
Find yourself a good local bike shop that has knowledgeable sales people and who will service your bike after the sale. Try getting Walmart to give you a 3 to 6 month tune-up as part of your purchase. Not gonna happen.

did you ever end up getting a bicycle?.... ..... check these out........ super fat tire hunting bikes...... .. they are taking the super fat tire bike
concept to a new level.... and creating serious off road bikes you can load up with hunting gear and travel across virtually any kind of ground....... .....
i would think about getting one myself if i hunting terrain that was a little more level.... .. but they wouldn;t work in these mountains...... people
are riding them on the beaches here though and not sinking into the sand at all...... i can;t imagine they would be very easy to pedal though.... ....
that;s a lot of tire to put into motion with nothing more than muscle power......
of course.... if i was going to spend that much on a fat tire hunting/expedition bicycle...
it would be nice to have a camper trailer i could pull behind it..... ....this guy shows how
to build one in your own garage.. (provided you have the awesome tool selection he does)....
sorry... the music in this one is kinda cheesy.... but as usual he never trashes up the video
with talk or a bunch of yakity yak.... he just demostrations of what he is doing in a way
anyone speaking any language can understand.....

... and that;s not including all the extras and add ons that make hunting with it possible..... 
..... that;s more than both my bikes put together.... and they weren;t cheap either...... 
......... .... ....
........ don;t know what i would do with it since it;s not really feasible for the kind of hunting we do here... .... .i could ride it on the beach or cruise around town.... ....... i would be like the bike riding equivalent of all the guys who drive around town in huge monster 4x4 trucks but never take them off road..... ...
