there have been several film/movie versions made of pilgrims progress.... including a few
cartoons... some have high tech cinematic effects... and others like this one, seem relatively
low budget.... ..but i have always loved this one best due to the way it starts off with a short
documentary giving the history of john bunyan and how he came to write the book...
...plus also because it has a young liam neeson in it back when nobody knew who liam
neeson was......
rmember when television commercials were simple and to the point?.... made for the
purpose of selling you something and nothing else?..... not at all like the obnoxious..
in your face... somebody yammering away nonstop while images flash across the
screen with a rapidity designed to cause seizures?.... music in the background that
often has nothing to do with the product being sold... dominated by a driving drum
beat that combined with the images and barking of the announcer, gives you a
headache or makes you nauseated?....
if that is your reaction to modern television commercials then you have the same
opinion of them i do.. and you might also have realized they are no longer designed
to simply sell you something.... now days they are played to try to brainwash you or
change your political opinions.... get you to accept some quack ideology without even
realizing you are accepting it........
does that sound like i am going over the top?..... .well.... think of the most obnoxious
even repulsive tv commercial you have recently seen..... or better yet look one up on
youtube and watch it. .. .. then take a look at these bread commercials in the following
videos from 1970s .. they actually worked on me.... i wanted to go out and buy some roman
meal bread when i saw these.... complete contrast to what modern tv commercials make
me want to do..... ....amazing....... ....
interesting history... . some of which no doubt played into the modern robin legend....

For the filling:
1/2 kg minced chicken
1 can mushrooms (squeeze out the liquids)
4-5 cloves of garlic
4-5 green chillies
2 spring onions
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
For the dough:
2.5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 cup hot water
Dipping sauce:
1 tbsp of spring onion
1/3rd cup of rice vinegar
1/3rd cup of dark soya sauce
1/3rd cup sriracha
