God choose the rain to quench humanities thirst.
God choose bread to fulfill humanities hunger.................
God made these choice..... so one day.... humanity would understand when Jesus said...
"I AM the Bread of Life"...... "I AM Living Water"....

Can you explain your question differently? I must have missed your meaning.
Thanks

It's a pretty simple question. Did God choose the bloodline of Israel to set them apart to be a special people? Did God NOT choose the Gentiles for that purpose?
We're talking Old Testament, here, of course.

I would agree if you worded it differently. God didn't choose Jesus. God is Jesus and Jesus is God. I'm not sure how I'd word it, but it would be closer to God choosing a plan.
My point was simply that the anti-Calvinist position has no basis in Biblical history. It is clear from the beginning of history that God chooses some people and not others. He's God. He's allowed to do that. It's his creation, after all. He can do with it whatever he wishes.
