RE: Trump is winning

I read the transcripts of the calls, and also read the so called "whistle blowers" complaint.. And in my opinion the President was acting well within his authority.
Asking a newly elected leader of a foreign country to re-examine a possible criminal case that was mishandled by the countries previous corrupt administration, is not automatically an incident of the President trying to use that countries government to bolster his chances in the next election.. regardless of whether or not the person who is a subject or party to that case might also be running for president..
Besides, in the past year who among the Democrats has NOT been running for president?
But I do admit it could be wrong for the President to ask what he did of Ukraines leader under some circumstances.. and had he actually done what the "whistle blower" who was not witness to the Presidents phone call himself, accused him of.
But given the fact the person in question openly bragged about actions that were clearly both illegal and unconstitutional, given his office and level of authority at the time.. and which, by that persons own words, fit the very definition of public corruption.. it became the Presidents duty to ask that the issue and incidents surrounding it be further investigated.
Can you imagine the precedent that would be set if simply running for public office made a person immune from investigation for possible criminal activity that occurred prior to the campaign announcement?
The Democrats have lost all sense of honesty and decency.
Not have only have they spent the past three years doing the very thing they now falsely accuse the President of doing, and which they demand he resign over.. they have lied to others and to themselves so often and so persistently that they have come to believe they themselves embody what is good and right.. and that whatever they do therefor will be right and good, no matter what it is, how contrary to the law and the U.S. Constitution it is, or how insidious others may find it to be.
They believe they can do no wrong.
The rest of us know the opposite is true. A person is considered honest and decent when he does things that are good and which are right. Not the other way around.
The actions of the corrupt individual are still corrupt regardless of what that person thinks of himself.. and regardless of whatever he has been able to convince others through lies, to think of him as.
Of course the Democrats would try to turn that around and claim it's the President who fits the description of what I just wrote.. not them.
But I say look at what they have done and what they advocate, and then let Scripture answer that - "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" - Matthew 7 vs 20
