national chicken pot pie day........

in case you did not know.... ..today is national chicken pot pie day...... .....i know i am
not the only one who knew this because the chicken pot pie section of the supermarket
freezer compartment was sold out even yesterday... ...but not to worry... . i was just
curious... i had planned all along to spend today baking my own chicken pot pie from
scratch..... ....better control that way over what all goes into it.... including the chickens...
besides.... you never know what really goes on in those industrial size pie factories.....
