There have been conflicting statements on this forum regarding your desire to return to the FF.org. On the one hand some posters say they wanted nothing to do with FF.org, then in the next post they complain that their accounts were disabled. I cannot help your confusion... however, I can offer an Olive Branch... BUT it comes with a reciprocation of your Christian charity:

If you really want to participate on the FF.org, then here are the terms you must agree to for your accounts to be reinstated at FundamentForums.org

Stop undermining the FF.org by:
1. Taking down this replicated forum.
2. On return to the FF.org, you are to RETRACT the following with your initial return post
     — Admit that your wild speculations are only theories, unsubstantiated with any proof and your only evidence is based on presumptive coincidence.
     — Acknowledge that you have no proof that the admins are reading your PMs. It is pure speculation on your part. The admins do not have the ability to read those PMs, unless they have been copied on those PMs.
     — Retract all accusations of DOS.
     — Do not post anything on FF.com with the purpose to undermine the FF.org
     — Email me at barry@evmikna.com with a temporary password.

I have no desire to fight or to ignite your forum. My only desire is to continue to provide the current posters at the FF.org a continued venue for their active discussions.

The above would be a charitable, Christian response. If this is not acceptable to you, or you want to continue in your delusions, then, carry on!

How can this be taken seriously? It seems like a take it or leave it proposition! How can such a proposition be taken in a spirit of "Christian charity and grace"? "Charity and grace consider others. You've basically excluded any opportunity for compromise.

What does this "compromise" look like from your end?

I honestly believe its went too far to compromise. I've chosen to do what I've done and you've chosen to do what you've done. I gave you ff.org with the hopes that you would continue our shared ideal of open dialogue. Things went well for a couple years now. Something changed. Our disagreements have always been there. You chose to start restricting dissenting voices. If there is one thing I hated about Andrew's forum it was his rule of not bashing management. I never brought that to ff.org. It seems you've chosen to bring it back.

I can't speak for those participating now. I have no desire to. They can chose. To me, that is what has always made the various FFF websites appealing. Its all about choice.

I applaud you for taking time for ff.org and the resources you've given to run it. You're direction in management has pretty much ruined it for me. I see no reason to think that will change. "Christian Charity and Grace" recognizes our own failures. It doesn't just offer a "olive branch" to those offended and expect them take all the blame and bow to compromise for the sake of compromise.

In other words.... you're acting just like you've acted in the recent past. I don't see anything different to make me consider abandoning what I've chosen to do.

Okay. So your complaint that I offered no compromise was a just a ruse.

Complaint stands. I'm not the only one involved. You're not offering a compromise. I'm just through with ff.org. I don't believe you'll change your style of management. That's the only thing that might change my mind. Even then, I don't know if I would drop this forum. Is your appeal to compromise really targetted at me? Or is it just the few others here?

I offered you an opportunity to explain what that "compromise" would entail. That is classic, textbook charity and grace!

 I explained my position. Are you going to take the requirement to remove this forum of your list of demands? 

By the way. Since I created ff.org and you've basically changed very little, you should retract your "replicated forum" charge. I didn't carry over anything you implemented. I based the ff.org on the abandoned ff.com.

Just as I thought. You're welcome to defend your actions here. You've made it impossible for us to defend ourselves at ff.org
