Your unfettered "defense" equals false and unprovable accusations as we see here on your forum.
Setting up this forum and soliciting current posters away from the active and functioning FF.org is unethical.
You rescued FFF from the unusable .com (applaud able)
You are trying to take down the active .org (Not cool)

I'm not trying to take down ff.org. I'm just giving people a choice. You didn't maintain my expectation of keeping ff.org a place for open dialogue. You've give me no reason to believe that will change moving forward. The users have a choice now. They can stay at ff.org or they can join here. I don't care if they are part of both or if they choose to stay at ff.org. I'm not the one being unethical. We have an on going disagreement. Let the users choose.
Lets get this straight. At the beginning, T-Bone helped to drive traffic to the ff.org. So did Tarheel. As the forum grew, all the users made the ff.org what it is today. When it became more than what I could handle at the time given my schedule. I gave it to you. I even told you I thought Ransom was a good choice for moderator. I haven't been against you or Ransom until you got upset over our discussions of the canon and my defense of Rogue. I've lost more than one friend over discussing the Biblical canon. Yet, I've never been unethical in targeting them. I'm not targeting you now. Just telling the truth of what happened. If you can show me where I've lied, I'll take it down. I don't want to hurt anyone.
I do have a suggestion for you. Create a council of users from both sides of the "aisle" and let them weigh in when you seek to discipline a long time member of your forum.
Do you regret how you've handled any of this?
I do regret messing with you with the admin account post. I apologize. It was a "heat of the moment thing." I seriously wasn't threatening you with my "admin post". I can see how you might of taken it that way.
It's obvious FSSL is extremely threatened by this forum. All the more reason to keep it running, although it doesn't need any more reason than that this is a good forum which will eventually be populated with great people.
You know what FSSL's offer looks like at my end? His end. His REAR end.
There was a point when I would have returned to fff.org if FSSL apologized for his behavior, and Ransom apologized for harassing my son. I passed that point long ago. That forum is run by lying, hypocritical megalomaniacs.
My regret is that I didn't ban Tomato permanently and right away when he posted the nudity.
The reason I disabled Tomato and Aleshanee's accounts was because they have publicly aligned with you on this forum and publicly stated they were recruiting from my forum. Banning would be an overreach. Changing their credentials would prove that anyone from using their accounts until the "dust settled."
This all was brought about by your misuse of my admin login. I had reason to believe Tomato and Aleshanee would have gladly let you go through their logins as well.
I accept your apology. Thank you.
I only joined here to tell you under what terms your return to .org would entail. I am not here to add more straw to your bonfire.

that is a bald faced lie and you know it....... where did i publicly say anything about recruiting people from your forum before you disabled my account?....... according to what you yourself said and the timeline of events my account had already been disabled before i even knew about this forum..... ...
yeah i posted things here... on this forum... about recruiting people to this forum.... from wherever they might be........ but that was only after you posted on your forum that i had been blocked from there....... ... but for all i know that is a lie as well....... i haven;t even tried to log in on your forum since april 22..... i have no desire to.... and i had already stopped posting on it long before that........
ya know.... an intelligent person would have gotten the message by now that i have no intention of ever returning to your party..... and as far as i am concerned you can delete my account from your forum and completely erase my name from the face of it...... ........ but i already know you won;t do that last part..... and several people have told me why....... ..... my name being associated with your forum has actually brought traffic to it.... and there are a lot of people there who didn;t want to see me walk away from it when i did...... ... and all of us... including them... know the reason you don;t want any of them to see the link to this forum is because some of them might actually wander over here - whether actively recruited or not - and try it out for a while...... ..... then after they discover it;s not run by an arrogant and heavy handed control freak they might actually decide to stay.........
and be honest about it.... you didn;t ban rogue tomato after the nudity thing because you were having too much fun with it..... trolling and provoking people to get cheap thrills is apparently your thing...... and you trolled that situation for all it was worth....and then some...... ....now why don;t you go trolling along back to your own forum and leave this one alone....... just the very fact you were allowed to log in here and say your piece while still refusing to give anyone else the same courtesy on your own forum, speaks volumes about how your character measures up to the people you came here to criticize ........... and in case you need help figuring that out........ ..it doesn;t...........
FSSL is living in his own little world. He knows what's he's saying is largly not true.
He never came here to compromise or show grace toward those he's banned. He came here to defend his choices. If I were like him, I'd delete a few posts, lock this thread, and promptly ban him. I'm not going to do that. People can read what is written and make their own decisions concerning what to believe.

By the way, I know for a fact that this is a lie. I know the software. I know site admins can read the PMs.
It is impossible for an admin to view Private Messages in the forum software. Your admin will not admit to it. He will not challenge your delusions. He will happily let you believe the worst. What kind of admin will allow this dishonesty to continue? Not me.
Therefore, until you fully retract the nonsense, you are not coming back to the .org.

I suspect you've read my messages at ff.org. There were conversations I had with forum members that you knew too much about.
There isn't a interface in SMF forum software to read PM's directly. HOWEVER, SMF forum software stores those PM message in plain text format within the database the forum software uses. So, when you imply you can't. That's wrong. You can. You're just carefully choosing your words. Most any forum software does not waste cpu resources to encrypt anything. Add the security concerns associated with encrypted communication and its never really been on most forum software "road map". This one reason that forum software of this type can greatly benefit from compression.
So, I don't know for sure. I haven't been looking at your monitor screen. However, it can be done rather easily. Just have to deal with a subpoena request for information, you'll know.
I've been working with Enterprise IT applications and resources for 20 years. I've been around the block a few times.
If you want me to prove you can.... I have a SMF forum setup now. I can screen grab how it looks if you want me to. I think you know I'm not lying. I never said you were. I've always said I suspect you have been.
Just say you haven't. Don't beat around the bush arguing with me about "you can't". God will judge us all one day. I'll leave it to Him.

I didn't say using the forum software. The site administrator can read private messages. It's very easy to do so. You forget, I worked on your forum to add features. I made a backup of it so I wouldn't accidentally do irreversible damage. I know every detail of how it works. I could prove it by posting a private message from back when I worked on the forum, but I will not violate anyone's privacy to do that. I didn't read any of the private messages then, and I won't do it now.
I have no intention of ever coming back to the org, so your threats mean absolutely nothing to me.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. The private messages are in the database for anyone with access to the database to see.
And, by the way, FSSL -- if you or Ransom are responsible for the denial-of-service attack on the old, old, FFF.com, I guarantee you will be found out.
Rogue disagrees. He "knows the software."
