  Is God's love unconditional?
  
  I've heard that all my life. Heard it from my mother. Heard it from her pastor. Heard it from countless individual over the years. 
  
  Is this really true?
  
  First, God loved us when we were unlovable. God, when we didn't love Him. Gave His Son for us. I call that perfect love.
  
  However, His love is not without conditions. God did this for a reason. He wants to fellowship with humanity. To share that Love with one another. 
  
  There will come a day when God will do some very bad things to those that refuse His work of love.....
  
  I say all this for a reason. 
  
  What happens when you find unconditional love being given from one sinner to another? There are people out that don't care one thing about what their "loved one" does. They will still love them regardless. They will still fellowship with them. Enjoy them. Love them to the day they die. 
  
  What makes that love any different from what we've been told.... how God loves?

  I know we don't often want to admit it when we follow traditions. Tradition often make their way into our theology and beliefs system to the point they're not easily removed. 
  
  I know. I've suffered immensely because of it. Needlessly.....suffered because of my unwillingness to face it. 
  
  We tell people that God loves them unconditionally..... and then later tell them God wants them to do such and such in reaction to His love.
  
  We just have to be honest. People can easily say.... "wait a minute". I thought you said "God loved me unconditionally?"....
  
  Why can't we just start with the Truth.....
  
  God wants something from you!!!
  
  He wants you accept His act of Love in giving His Son for the sins of the world. He wants you to love Him above all else. Above your mother. Above your father. Above your friends. Above your wife. Above you children....
  
  and most of all.....
  
  Above yourself!!!
  
  We have taken a very clear message and changed it to be about us. When its really about God. 
  
  Its in our best interest to love God. Its in our families best interest to love God. Its easier to love God when you realize how much He has loved us. He is near us all. He is with and within His own. He loves completely. He loves purely. His ways are beyond question. He is altogether lovely and wonderful. 
  
  You can not experience what you so desperately need by ignoring God's call to love Him in return.
