I'm afraid.... knowing you're saved!

I've heard it my entire life. Usually from people that really don't know any better. Sure, they'll say they're experts. Sure, they'll tell you how they've being dealing with such things for decades..... Self ascribed experts that believe knowledge comes from the amount of time they spend studying......
There are countless people who are just like the Pharisees of Jesus day. They believed they had life in the Scriptures.....
Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Joh 5:40 And you will not come to me, that you might have life.
Notice. Jesus didn't say they didn't believe. He actually said they BELIEVED...... They were holding/handling the Scriptures they BELIEVED gave them life. Saying the same things you hear today... like.."I just believe this book"......... I believe what "GOD SAYS".....
Problem is, Jesus told them WHY they didn't have life at all. The One and ONLY reason they didn't have life..... was because they didn't go to Him.
Therein lies the problem. Therein lies the real issue with these so called "ministers" telling you NOT to go by what you FEEL...... When FEELING is the ONLY way you'll ever really know you're saved or not.
Let me ask you. Are you afraid to die????
I'll answer that question myself..... The answer is YES. There are times I'm afraid of the thoughts of dying. I believe any/all human beings in existence has this same issue.....When THESE so called "ministers" have the same feelings, their answer is..... Don't worry about it. Everyone is afraid. Don't worry about it. Just BELIEVE..... Just claim "God's Word".....
Sorry friend. That's not what they Scriptures teach nor is that what common sense teaches anyone. These "teachers" do this for a reason. The "REASON" they do this is because of their horrible doctrine. They BELIEVE that they have life in the Scriptures. Which they don't. They have convinced themselves that they've got something.... they just might not have. Its this time tested unbelief centered around the theology that God drags people to Himself. That all those that WILL BE SAVED.... WILL BE SAVED. Theological Fatalism or the belief in the absence of free will. These people actually believe that because they began to be interested in the Scriptures, that God divinely converted them already. They do not judge their position by a loving relationship but rather their inquisitive mind.
What do the Scriptures teach?
It is easy. They that FEAR..... are not made perfect in LOVE. For PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR.....
1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
It is what I've experience my entire SAVED life. That when I FEAR..... I find PERFECT LOVE emanating from the Spirit of God. That PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR.......CHRIST IN US!
Not some words written on a piece of paper soon to be burned up in the fire that will consume this world. It is a REAL. TANGIBLE..... FEELING of the LOVE OF GOD. The "PEACE OF GOD" that surpasses all understanding....
Which brings me to the common sense part.....
My children have come to me several times in my life ...... telling me they were afraid of something. When this happens, I love them. I comfort them. I try to CALM their fears. I believe any caring parent will do the same. I PERSONALLY take of my OWN. Which is what GOD does. I don't tell them to just believe what I told someone thousands of years earlier..... I GIVE and GET PERSONAL ATTENTION......
There is no such thing as a Child of God that doesn't know the peace of God. There is no such thing as a child of God that does not know the LOVE of God. PURE and OVERWHELMING LOVE.
If you don't experience this..... all the so called "BELIEVING" the Scriptures in this world isn't going to help you. You best bet is to GO TO JESUS. He isn't a figment of your imagination. He is not happenstance call into the dark. He is REAL and He wants you to know HIM... Its up to YOU.

Where do you find value?

Humanity often finds value in meaningless things. In the praise of men. In their business successes. In cheating others. Even in helping others.....
Jesus made it clear.....
Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Where you find value.... is where your heart will truly be.....
There are plenty of people in this life that help others.... to just... help themselves. Just about any private charity these days is not really "in it" for truly helping others. They're in it for "the job" or the tax advantages/shelters.
I realize one time that if you really want to find lasting and meaningful value that endures!!!! You better start with Jesus Christ......
Can I ask you a personal question? There are plenty of people that name the name of Jesus Christ..... that are really just talking about Jesus to get the good things..... that come along with "His Good Name".....
But do you REALLY..... Find value in just Him? Do you begin with Jesus Christ?
I've found that with HIM..... I can endure tribulation and trials. With HIM... I can endure pain and suffering.... With HIM... through it ALL.... I find value and a treasure beyond compare IN.... HIM.
In HIM.... I have life Eternal to share with those I love. My children. My wife. My family... the ENTIRE family of God.... Whether they like me or they don't.
Just where do you find REAL value?

I know what I believe the Scriptures teach. I believe they're very clear. I believe that many people do not understand what Paul meant when he wrote...
1Ti 2:9 likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,
1Ti 2:10 but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.
1Ti 2:11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness.
1Ti 2:12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.
1Ti 2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
1Ti 2:14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
1Ti 2:15 Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
I've seen all types of interpretations given for these verses but the explanation is rather simple. Usually a person's interpretation depends upon what they believe about "women preaching"..... not what the verse actually relate/say. I don't have an agenda. All I care about is the Truth. Mature adults go where the information leads them. Well..... sometimes...
There is a difference between a single and married women. Regardless of your agenda, you can't get past this fact. Here, Paul is dealing with married women. The appeal is to Eve the "mother of all living" and "child birth" in verse 15. The context is clear.
1. If a women chooses to marry, then she has chosen for herself a subservient role in the family.
The head of every women is the man. The head of the family is the "man of the house". In such a role, the "wife" is not to speak of herself. (In like manner, the servant to Christ is not to speak of themselves, though they be the "head of the house")... She is to focus upon her role in the family. As such, these verses apply to those that would act Godly in marriage.
The single women has no such restrictions. In fact, read the words of Paul to Corinth.....
1Co 7:33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
1Co 7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
Married women are bound to their husband. As is the husband to the wife. They should speak the same things. They should work together.
1Co 7:20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
1Co 7:21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
1Co 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
Can a women preach? Absolutely. However, if she is married, she should display and live a subservient role with her husband as the "mouthpiece" of the family.
What about "authority over another man"? In context, this is speaking of a married women displaying an authoritative position that she does not have. Single women.... do not carry such restrictions. If they do, then..... please share the Scripture for such...

She supposedly has seen bodies "stacked like firewood"..... in her job. All due to Covid-19.
I don't believe her. Not that I don't believe it could happen. I just haven't seen reports of it happening... ANYWHERE.... Much less where she works and certainly not as n ICU nurse. Most Covid patients aren't in ICU.... even if they're in critical condition.
Just why do people feel like they have to lie to get their way?.... and why did the news not vet her obviously false story?

Will you consider your own mortality?
Every day, our fellowmen die. Every day, most any living thing dies. Eventually, all die. This is a very REAL unescapable truth of our mortality.
Yet, we ignore this fact. When humanity sees things die around them, they curse them. They mock them. They say "good riddance"..... all while ignoring their own very REAL mortality.
SO. If a tree falls in the woods, will you please consider your own morality?
For those in Christ Jesus. We have the wonderous words of our Savior. Our Redeemer.....
Mat 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
Mat 10:30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
Mat 10:31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Rom 8:11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Thank God for the Mountain?

I was listening to a Gaither song "Sometimes it takes a Mountain".......
Songs such as this are very popular. They are largely predicated upon the belief that God has ordained specific things in our lives to punish us into submissions. In other words.....
If God hadn't punished us, like He planned, then things wouldn't have happened they way they happened. So..... I have to praise God for the mountain.
Often verses such as 1 Thess 5:18 are referenced.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.....
However, that isn't really what this verse means. The context of 1 Thess 5:18 is prayer. Yes. We should give thinks for all things because there is nothing without God. Yet, that doesn't mean that we are to thank God for a "supposed mountain" He threw at us to get us on our knees.
I'm not saying there isn't a "mountain" coming your way or my way. What I am saying is there IS one coming and it doesn't have anything to do with God trying to punish you into submission.
Truth is, you and I can't help ourselves. AH.... there are times we can but this life is designed with obstacles that are beyond our control. I hope you realize that you need God every moment of every day. Every sec of your entire existence.
Thank God for the mountain?
I believe it is BETTER to .........Thank for God being God........ and enjoy His never ending presence and help in your life. He enjoys being there with you. You should do the same. He can tell when you don't want Him there...
